ACCESS
In response
to queries from people who are experiencing difficulties
viewing some web sites or don’t gain access to pictures
and other web site elements.
Firstly we
understand the frustration you feel when able to view
some sites and not others or only part of a web site,
however, there are countless reasons & explanations for
such difficulties.
Firstly in
response to questions about web sites hosted by York
Administrative Services or MDR Computer Services, all web
sites have undergone rigourus testing using operating
platforms and varied PC configurations by testers
throughout Victoria and confirmed to be working
correctly.
Pictures
When viewing
any web site with significant numbers of pictures some
pictures may seem to not load however there is a time
factor. Pictures & some web elements (eg banner headings
& hover buttons) can be VERY slow.
You may also
be viewing from a PC which has configuration setting
preventing pictures from loading; this can be a setting
of the PC to prevent unwanted pictures which might
impact on an internet monthly service charge.
To ascertain
if this could be the cause you need to review
configuration show pictures MUST be turned on (ticked) to
view.
